Thank you very much for helping me join this journey and pilgrimage with the Holy Father in Sydney Australia. I am Angelee L. Orticio,  fourth year nursing student of Bicol University,  and a member of the 4th Community, Neo Catechumenal Way, Albay Cathedral Parish, Legazpi City, Philippines. I was able to attend the 23rd World Youth Day last July 14-23, 2008 in Sydney because of your prayers and assistance.
 
      God touched my heart, during the pilgrimage in Sydney, through the readings from the scriptures, Eucharistic mass, catechesis, and events that took place. In this pilgrimage God calls me to proclaim his goodness by being able to accept, forgive, and love - even those people that I do not like and and in my weaknesses seem not find Jesus in them.

       Thank you very much for helping me join this pilgrimage with our Pope Benedict. This is a memorial that I will always keep and remember how the love of God moves people to help others become closer to Him.

      During the mass with the Pope and in Sydney’s St. Mary’s Cathedral, I asked our Mother, the Virgin Mary to help me pray to our Lord to bless you and all the people whom God touched to help me attend the pilgrimage. My parents, brothers and sisters extend their heartfelt gratitude for responding to our letters through prayers and financial help. Again, thank you very much. God’s blessings will surely be poured upon you and  your family, a hundred fold.
